Nashville Addiction Recovery offers an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) designed for two types of patients:
Our Nashville IOP is located in Belle Meade and offered in the mornings, afternoons and evenings to best accommodate our patients’ schedules. Patients who receive IOP services will attend three days each week. Each treatment day features three hours of therapy, for a total of 12 hours per week.
IOP patients at our Nashville location have the option of attending treatment from 9 am to noon, 1pm to 4pm or from 6 pm to 9 pm. The typical length of stay in IOP is six to eight weeks, with a goal of 32 sessions before completion.
Discharge planning begins the day that a patient enters IOP. By the time a patient has completed treatment he or she will have a comprehensive plan that identifies resources that support continued recovery.
All treatment provided through Nashville Addiction Recovery’s IOP is based on principles and practices of proven recovery models and implemented according to best-practice modalities with an emphasis on personal growth and recovery. Focus areas include positive coping mechanisms, stress management, and relapse prevention. Treatment is tailored to each patient’s needs and focused on dual diagnosis if indicated.
Treatment at our Nashville IOP location is provided by certified substance use counselors and licensed clinical addiction specialists. All clinicians specialize in addiction counseling, and all have been trained in the Matrix IOP Model. Our comprehensive program provides access to substance use treatment professionals with many years of experience in intensive outpatient treatment models that serve patients and their families.
