Partial Hospitalization Program in Nashville

Partial Hospitalization Programs

There are a number of treatment options available for battling addiction and mental illness. Nashville Addiction Recovery will help determine which route is right for you. After assessment and detox, we may determine that a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is best for your recovery.

PHP allows you to live at home while pursuing treatment at an inpatient facility during daytime hours. A PHP provides a level of care that includes intensive clinical support and medical care as an alternative to residential treatment.

We provide PHP services in-house at Nashville Addiction Recovery. It is five days per week and five hours per day, equating to a minimum of 25 hours of treatment per week.

Reasons for Suggesting a Partial Hospitalization Program

Factors we consider when deciding on a PHP include:

Detox

To properly set the stage for recovery, you will have to detoxify the drug from your system, giving you a clear mind to truly focus on recovery. Please check out the various inpatient and outpatient detox options we provide for completing this crucial stage.

Behavioral Therapy

We suggest behavioral therapy to every patient who we are treating for drug addiction. This form of therapy better helps us identify the underlying reasons for the addiction, including exploring any possible concurrent mental health issues.

Medication-Assisted Therapy

For some, government-approved medications may aid in withdrawal and relapse prevention. We consider if medication will, in fact, be helpful on a case-by-case basis.
